1. Get your provisional licence
Apply to the DVLA to get your licence. The cost is currently £34 online : https://www.gov.uk/apply-first-provisional-driving-licence
2. Book a lesson : Super quick and easy online
3. Theory test : Study for your theory test! You need to pass this before taking your practical test. You can still take lessons whilst studing your theory

4. Pass your test – freedom : Once you have passed, you are free to drive on your own, whenever and wherever you want to go
